Factoid of the Week:
Thank you for including the ‘Factoid of the Week’ Hypnosis to Manage Anxiety and Pain Associated with Colonoscopy for Colorectal Cancer Screening: Case Studies and Possible Benefits.
I have been learning self – hypnosis with your new online course and have tried it out on my most recent colonoscopy (January2019). As these are ‘surveillance’ procedures following very major surgery for cancer in 2016 I am always anxious about the outcome, although I have always refused sedation or pain relief, not being frightened of pain in itself especially when I know the cause. I am early days with self-hypnosis but I did find it very helpful this time and chatted happily through the entire procedure without particularly thinking about it and only registering pain as a background kind of thing, so it definitely did help and I will employ it again next time. Therefore ‘Thank You’ Adam!
Thank you for sharing that Bobby, lovely hearing from you.
WIth my very best wishes to you, Adam.
